What is a solar return?
The short answer
A solar return is a chart made when the Sun reaches the same point it held when you were born, around your birthday.

How to use this
Your birth chart maps the Sun, Moon, and planets when you were born. A solar return adds a yearly chart, using your current city in Astrofluence. It helps separate a long-term career question from what you want to review this birthday year. It does not replace your birth chart or decide your next move.
A solar return and a personal year are not interchangeable. The first uses the Sun’s return to its birth position. The second uses your birth month, day, and calendar year in a numerology calculation. Neither is a deadline for a career move. A birthday can be a useful review date because you choose to pause and take stock.
Example
Imagine you want to become known for writing, but this year you are also learning a new role. The long-term aim and the immediate workload are different questions. You could use the yearly read to choose a manageable writing project, rather than abandoning the aim.
What to remember
Astrofluence uses it to review the year ahead. It does not guarantee events or outcomes.
