Astrofluence calculates chart positions from birth date, time, place, and current location. Then it interprets those symbolic patterns for career reflection: direction, work rhythm, money pressure, visibility, and timing. It is not a prediction engine.

Planetary positions

Your chart starts as astronomy.

Given a birth date, time, and place, the positions of the Sun, Moon, and planets relative to Earth are observation and orbital mechanics: the same sky data planetarium software computes. Astrofluence calculates your chart through a professional astrology calculation API using the tropical zodiac.

Houses

Houses come from your birth time and place.

The twelve houses come from your birth time and location: latitude, longitude, and the local sidereal time at the moment you were born decide where the chart's angles fall. We use Placidus, the most widely used modern house system. Change the time or the city and the houses move. That is why we ask for both.

Numerology

Numerology is arithmetic first.

Numerology is arithmetic first: fixed rules, the same result every time, no interpretation involved until the number exists. The meaning layer, like 'a 5 year favors change and range', is symbolic, and we treat it that way.

Life path

Sum every digit of the birth date, then reduce the total repeatedly, stopping at the master numbers 11, 22, and 33.

15 July 1990 → 1+9+9+0+0+7+1+5 = 32 → 3+2 = 5

25 October 2001 → 2+0+0+1+1+0+2+5 = 11, a master number, so it stays 11 instead of reducing to 2.

Personal year

Birth month + birth day + the universal year (the digits of the current year summed), reduced to a single digit. Master numbers are not preserved here.

Born 15 July, in 2026: universal year 2+0+2+6 = 10; then 7 + 15 + 10 = 32 → 3+2 = 5. A 5 personal year.

Popular books sometimes reduce each component before summing, or add the life path to the year. Our formula is the one above, documented exactly as the product computes it, so what you read here never diverges from what the app does.

The moment we say "a Capricorn Midheaven tends to build authority through evidence", we have moved from astronomy into a symbolic language. Astronomy gives us the sky-position data. Astrology gives us a symbolic language for reflection. Astrofluence keeps those separate.

Fair concern: vague statements feel personal to everyone. That is why your read is built from your exact birth data, your current city, and the career question you typed, and why every generated claim names its source: which placement, which return, which number. If a line in your read could apply to anyone, we have failed our own quality bar. Tell us.

No, and we never claim it does. Astrology is a symbolic framework, not a predictive science; use this as reflection, not financial advice. What we do claim: the calculation is real astronomy and arithmetic, the interpretation is a structured reflection language, and the usefulness comes from applying that structure to a decision you already own.

A horoscope is one paragraph for one-twelfth of the population. Your read is computed from your full chart, your solar return, your numerology, your current role, and your actual question. It ends with one testable move, not a mood.

The same reason serious professionals use journaling frameworks or strengths assessments: a structured mirror surfaces assumptions faster than an unstructured one. You do not have to believe the sky causes anything to get value from a disciplined reflection tool with a decision attached.
