Your birth chart is some of the most personal data we will ever hold for you. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and how you can change your mind about any of it.
01Who we are

Astrofluence Ltd is the data controller for the personal data you give us.
Astrofluence Ltd ("we", "us") is the data controller responsible for your personal data. For any privacy question, write to our data protection contact at privacy@astrofluence.com.
02What we collect
At a glance
Your email, your birth details, what you create in the workspace, and basic usage data. No passwords, ever.
We collect:
- Account data: your email address (we use magic links, so we never collect a password).
- Birth data: the date, time, and place of birth you enter to calculate a chart.
- Workspace content: your saved reads, roadmap, tracker entries, notes, and chat history.
- Billing data: handled by Stripe. We store a customer reference and subscription status, never your full card number.
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, and device or browser basics, through privacy-respecting analytics.
03How we use it
At a glance
To calculate your chart, run the Service, take payment, support you, and improve the product. Nothing more.
- Calculate your chart and produce your reads, signals, and chat answers.
- Sign you in by email and keep your workspace available.
- Take payment and manage your subscription through Stripe.
- Reply to support requests and send service emails you would expect.
- Improve the chart engine and product using anonymised, aggregated patterns.
04Why we are allowed to use it
At a glance
Mostly to deliver the contract you signed up for, plus consent for optional things and our legitimate interest in a safe, improving product.
We rely on contract (to provide the Service you asked for), consent (for non-essential cookies and any marketing), legitimate interests (to keep the Service secure and to improve it), and legal obligation (to keep tax and accounting records).

We share data only with the processors that run the Service for us, under contracts that bind them to protect it:

06Cookies and tracking

We use a small set of cookies. The full list lives in the Cookies Policy.
Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect forms. Optional analytics cookies only run if you accept them. Every cookie is listed in our Cookies Policy.
07How long we keep it
At a glance
While your account is open, then 30 days after you close it. Tax records last longer because the law says so.
We keep your account and workspace data while your account is open. After you delete your account, we remove it within 30 days, except billing records we must keep for tax and accounting (typically 6 years).
08Where we store it
Your data is stored on servers in the EU where possible. Where a processor transfers data outside the UK or EEA, that transfer is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
09Your rights
At a glance
You can see your data, fix it, take it with you, or delete it. Just ask.
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your account and the data tied to it.
- Export your workspace content in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
To use any of these, email privacy@astrofluence.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
10Children
Astrofluence is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, and magic-link sign-in so there is no password to leak. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep the risk low and will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.
12Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to how we handle your data, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect.
